Edu Passion 2019

Hallo Everybody!

     In this posted, I want to tell you about one of event in 3 Senior High School Bandung. The event called Edu Passion. Edu Passion is held every once a year.

     In this year, Edu Passion is hold on 24th of January 2019. In particular, Edu Passion is an event that being held to provide information about some of the existing faculties or universities in Indonesia and for help all students in grade 12 of Senior High School to choose faculties and universities that match with their talents and interests.

     In Edu Passion event, me and my friends (Sekar, Renna, Nifela, and Laila) had the opportunity to interview some university or institution. But in this posted, i just want to share my interview result with Wall Street English. This is my interview result. Happy Reading!

Me : “What exactly is Wall Street English?”

WSE : “Wall Street English is English Training Center. This institution is focusing to improve your English language ability. To improve your language, we have 'Total English Enviroment' to make you speak English regularly. In Wall Street English skill is very important. So we divide the study process into 80% of practice and 20% of theory”.

Me : “What accent that used by Wall Street English? British? Or USA?”

WSE : “Accent is like dialect. So Wall Street English prefer used International English Language. Beside of that, we think pronountiation is more important than accent. Because if we pronounce some word in wrong way, we can get a wrong or different meaning”.

Me : “In your opinion, what is the most important thing between grammar and pronountiation?”

WSE : “Both, because it's a different think. Grammar is about the language system, but pronountiation is about how you speak the language properly. But how important grammar and pronoutiation is depend on the context. If you want to use your English language for travelling, it is okay to ignore about grammar because in daily conversation the most important thing is to understanding each other. But if you want use your English language for study or something like that, grammar is so important”.

Me : “What is the special quality from Wall Street English?”

WSE : “Our study process is not conventional, we don’t use white board, we have review section, we have private teacher out of the class, we have monthly event to make you socialize and improve your English language because in Wall Street English speaking is more important. We have test too but not like an usual test. We have evaluation in feedback form. We have 5 class, consisting of digital, speaking center, envonter, social class, and complementary”.

Me : “Why the name of this institution is Wall Street English?”

WSE : “We are inspired by Wall Street corporation that moving on money Investment. We think English language is one of our Investment in education sector. Because if you can speak English, you can go to anywhere”.
