Gathapraya
Almost every Senior High School always had one event ini every year, that called Cultural Fest. Every Cultural Fest in each Senior High School also had a different name.
This year, 3 Senior High School Bandung hold a Cultural Fest. The name of Cultural Fest is "Gathapraya". "Gathapraya" means 'hopes for the future'. The theme of Gathapraya festival is 'the traditional culture that is collaborated with Modern Culture'. Why the theme like that? The theme like that because Gathapraya wants reintroduce traditional culture to millenial generation and make millenial generation loved our own traditional culture. Why millenial generation? Because millenial generation is hope for the future that was born with modern culture.
Gathapraya was held at Saturday, on 30th of September 2017 in Bali Field. The event started with Nusantara Parade from Saparua to Bali Field. The participant are young people, start with children from kindergarten, elementary school, and all 10th grade student in 3 Senior High School Bandung. Every participant ini this parade is wear Kabaya and Pangsi. But from each classes on 10th grade in 3 Senior High School Bandung must delegate one male and one female to wearing traditional costumers from many Islands in Indonesia and join the Fashion Show Competition. This parade is hold to reintroduce and show the traditional culture of Indonesia, also to promote Gathapraya.
After Nusantara Parade, we start to enjoying Gathapraya Festival. There was so many Cultural and Food or Drink stand in Bali Field like Batik Stand, Traditional Costumes Stand, Traditional Games Stand, Gamelan Stand, Photo booth, Potatoes Stand, Takoyaki Stand, Tea Stand, Rice Box Stand, and many more. There was so many performances in Gathapraya like Elevoice, Drizzling, MK3, LSS3, Band3, KPA3, Tiloes Teater, and Extracurricular Colaboration. There also many guest star in the night event, like Nidji, Hivi, Didik Nini Towok, Vina Candrawati, and Giri Harja. Nidji and Hivi where the guest star that perfomed ini the night as a closing.
The festival was ended at 23.00, I enjoyed the Cultural Festival until the end. I felt very happy and can't wait to enjoyed the next Cultural Festival. I hope the next Cultural Festival become more succesfully.
